Squeaky sound after lower with Eibach

Hello yall!!! Just wondering if any one experienced squeaky noises after lowering with Eibach springs. When ever i turn i can hear squeaks and it only happened right after i lowered my 997.2 with just Eibach.

Thanks!

Was this a DIY or did a shop do the work?

I've had my car lowered on Eibachs for about a month now. I haven't experienced the problem you're describing.

I would say that if you paid someone to do the job for you to bring the car back and let them make sure there is nothing wrong or out of whack.

If you did it yourself you may still have to bring the car into a shop if you have no idea how to troubleshoot the problem.

If you're talking about some noise when doing a full lock turn (as in maneuvering in a parking lot) my 997 has always made a slight sound as I hit the end of the steering travel.

Hi Derek i had an indi shop lowered my car and he told me the name of the part and i just can't remember to save my life. The mech told me other than the annoying sound theres nothing to worry about. However if i wanted to get it fix i prob have to spend $250 for the part/labor and get it re align just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing same squeaky noise.

re-alignment is a must

You pretty much have to get the re-alignment done anyway. If you don't you'll wear out your tires faster than normal.

+1 on realignment. Had my Eibachs installed two weeks ago. An alignment is a must.

it may squeak initially as it is settling in place. but that should go away pretty quick.

wait few weeks for the spring to settle before u get a proper alignment.

make sure the alignment shop has a good reputation with Porsche.

Rogc4s i spent about $340 for the Eibach springs and $500 on labor and alignment so i guess you will be paying about $840 to lower your P car.

If you have any issues with speed bumps and driveways now, lowering the car isn't going to help any, is it?
