Didn't you ask this back in December? Guess no one answered. You might call some of the local tuners in ATX or SA and see who they recommend for some custom exhaust work.

There's always Fister (if you can deal with installing it yourself). They have sometimes have a swap set. Call or email Darin for info.

No affiliation - just a satisfied customer.

These are my cans. The quality of the work is top notch.

The forum did not push the responses above and just noticed them.

No, no good respondes here. Fister may be the way to go. It's just easier for me with work to go to a shop

if you're still looking, i have a gundo'd set in my garage that was swapped out for a cargraphics set (soon to be swapped out for an afterhours set - sitting next to my desk in my office). they have dual bypass pipes and sound very good. i can send you pics or post them here. let me know if you might be interested. otherwise, you'll likely see them posted on RL and 6SO in a matter of days.

Gundo Hacks are a simple modification that any competent exhaust shop can do. I would check around your area for good standard Exhaust shops with a good reputation (citysearch or Yelp). Take them the pictures of the Gundo Hack before and after pictures and in a little over an hour you will have one of the best Mods for the money. It should only cost you about $200 (depending on where you live).

just saw this post. Call Chad at Noribilt and tell him that you need just two 8"X2"dia ss exhaust tubes tig welded between the inlet/outlet of your muffler or if you want the pse/gundo then from the plug to the outlet. should be about 150-180 bucks. I would just drop the mufflers yourself and take them in.

Do a search on here and you will see tons of information. Basically you are modifying your stock muffler to be a PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) without the Valve (always on). You weld a pipe between the inlet and outlet on your exhaust. It cost anywhere from $150-$300 vs a PSE which is over $2500 (not sure of exact cost).

It will change the sound of your exhaust to what a sports car should sound like...Deep and throaty and not wimpy and cheap like the stock exhaust.

here is what my 996 pse looks like, but a gundo hack just welds a pipe between the inlet and outlet to pretty much bypass the muffler but with out deleting it 100%. the pse has a valve that opens a butterfly to open the exhaust bypass however was pluged at the valve to keep them open 24/7
