I had it done up here in Bellingham, Wa. I doubt that will be of much help for you.

I personally wouldnt try to have it filled 1st. replacing a windshield is pretty invasive and chances of getting scratches in the paint or new creaks is pretty high.

In Cali, if chip or crack is in line of sight....has to be replaced...but I have never seen anyone pulled over for it, but I never let one get like that.

I get glass repair for free, and a $ 100.00 new glass replacement...so you know which way I would go!!
