Anyone in Miami to check out an M3?

Hey guys,
I'm assisting my dad in locating a used e46 M3 for his place in Tampa. We ran across a blue 2006 in Miami and wondered if someone local would consider checking it out for us? You guys were very helpful when we bought our 2006 911 this spring.

We had shipped our 2002 3 series back to WI to sell and we need to replace it. Our fear is flying out to check the car only to find that it was misrepresented in terms of its condition. As an example we found one 2 hours south near Chicago, drove down after being told by the salesman it was a 9 out of 10 only to find out a beat up scratched m3 in worse condition than our 4 year older 330ci.

Do folks on here do this often? Is it too much to ask? I would be great full for this!

We can chat via pm if anyone might be willing.

Brandon

I would be more than happy if I were in MIA. I am across the "alley" in Naples... I go to Miami periodically for business and will PM you if I find the need to go soon

Well thank you for the offer! We were just through your neck of the woods on our way from Tampa to South beach over the winter.

If it works out, let me know!

Be there Sat afternoon

I will be there Sat afternoon as I have to drop my wife off at the airport. I can check it out if you need depending on where it is located. I have also owned the E46 & E92 (just sold it to get an 09 C2S).

Wow, thanks guys! My Dad is a bit old school so he is still hesitant about purchasing from a distance. I believe he wants to wait a bit longer to see if one pops up locally and if not, we will be using "option B"

For those in FL, you may be hearing back from me in the future. I personally will probably be in this same situation for my wifes new car. She wants a used 2013 GS350 F sport, and very few exist up here in WI.

I cannot thank you guys enough for the offers I have received. Talk soon!

I just sold my 996 C4S. I live in Houston and the buyer lives in San Antonio. Not nearly the distance you are talking about but the buyer used a service called Lemon Squad. They setup a time to inspect my car. Pretty thorough inspection and the inspector was very familiar with p cars (also he'd done inspections on BMW, Ferrari, Lambo, ....). The inspector writes up a report along with photos. I don't know how much the service costs but I would consider using them on my next purchase if it is long distance.
