jabed92694 is infamous around these parts
Has anyone upgraded from the old Gateway 500 with the separate Bluetooth module to the newer 500S with the integrated Bluetooth? Is it worth upgrading?

Eric,

Almost 50% of the time I have to reset the dension unit bc it gives me a error message of "No CD Changer". Once rest and the blue light on the unit comes on, it works 75% of the time (the other 25% I have to shut off the car and restart it). Does this fix resolve that issue?

i had a similar issue

try a different Ipod to see if u have the same problem

For me, i first thought it was a connector cable issue since Dension would not recharge the Ipod (on top of 'no CD changer' error). But when a new cable didn't fix the problem, i tried a different Ipod and all my problems were resolved.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually don't have the Ipod/Iphone connected to anything. It's happens just by turning on the car. When I try to switch it to radio, the radio station shows up on the screen but no sound comes out.

Email me - sounds like something is amiss in the installation, setup or something in the loop.
