The OP said "front wheel well".
Suggest OP pull wheel and take a look.

Logical response to a bizarre question. Made me look though.

Had the same "STRONG" smell from front wheel well couple of months back, turned out it was a torn CV joint boot.

Interestingly, the smell this morning is completely gone.

It was very hot yesterday in Vegas, so I wonder if I need to get it really hot to make it smell again.

Thanks for the CV joint boot idea. Will check it out.

wondering if it was a radiator hose leak or some kind of "Sweat" from the radiator you are smelling? I swear sometimes I smell coolant when my car runs in real hot temps but I never seem to be losing any.

Take a look and make sure your reservoir is still full and you don't have a leak somewhere.

Just a thought

The only liquids up front are, coolant, brake fluid & headlight washer fluid.
I would suspect leaking coolant.
