Installed Bilstein PSS9's - a bit disappointing.. suggestions?

A little background.

I had a 996 and I installed coilovers made by Feal suspension.
http://www.rallyracingsuspension.com/

They were awesome. The car felt perfectly planted and not crazy harsh.

I bought a set of Bilstein pss9's for my 997

I'm kinda disappointed in the body roll and a bit of a bouncy feel. I'm not sure what spring rates these have.

I would be a shame to replace the springs, but what alternatives?

Would an adjustable sway bar help? Could I pre-load the springs with an adjustable sway bar (I thought I read that someone.. )

Any tips?
Thanks
Jeff
PS...

I have an extra set of JIC coilovers from my 996. They have purple springs, I don't know the spring rate. Maybe a shop can test them and determine this?

a couple yrs ago i went with PSS10s. even with the original springs (250/450?) i thought it was a great improvement over stock but i also have TPC adjustable sways. i have since moved up to heavier springs - 600/800 - and havent looked back. i dont know anything about Feal but i can honestly say i've never heard anyone truly disappointed with bilsteins performance* (that are installed/set up/aligned correctly).

* - i have seen some gripes over creaking and squeaking etc but blah blah blah.

I just ordered the PSS10 Damptronics and hope to have them installed in the next week or two. I post up my review once I test them out. I am also adding the H&R Sway bars.

Sounds good. I don't fault the quality of the product, it seems the springs are softer them I'm used to. I'm looking forward to hearing your view, your car is very modded too.

I have PSS's with RSS sway bars, it is perfectly planted! I think sway bars and good alignement is a must with coilovers.

why do not any of the members try out the ohlins road and track coilovers. they are $3000 and the dampening is far superior to bilstein.. you will lose pasm but honestly it sucks anyway

agree and agree. as mine is becoming more of a track car/less of a street car, i'm kinda wishing i had blown my wad on JRZ's from the start. oh well, live and learn.

and FYI, a well respected indy in my area is currently developing sotware tune for the PASM brain. as i understand it, OEM PASM has all 4 corners programmed to do the same thing regardless of the terrain & lateral/longitudinal forces each wheel is experiencing. the new software adjusts each corner accordingly and instantly to what it is traveling over at the moment. i know of a couple test cars that have it installed and they love it. not sure if/when it will hit the open market.

I'd be interested in the software update.

to your original question: adjustable sway bars definitely should help if you're worried about body roll

for me i feel in stock ride height my car does not have 911 characteristics! i am really lookinging forward to lowering my c2s so that the rear end swings out precisely when i want it to! i feel the center of gravity is just off in stock ride height form
