My blk 997S will arrive coming tue and wanna ask you guys if i wanna paint the wheels should i go for body blk or dull blk?

Personal choice. I don't love dark wheels, but on some colors (like Black and Speed) it does look good.

Find a top notch shop in your area, then have them do two sprayouts.

One with the factory color of your choice, in high gloss urethane clear, the other with satin clear. We do this all the time.

Satin will give you less bling factor, but again, it's personal choice.

 

do you hv a pic in any colour of the 2 sprayout?

Pictures won't show it online. Sprayout samples should be on 8" sheets of cardstock material so you can see it in daylight and compare the two.

And if you did one on the wheels, then decided you wanted the other, it's a pretty simple one-day job to knock down the clear and reclear in the other finish. The base coat would be the same if you are going with Porsche 741 black.

i dont think i could have got a worse picture if i had tried, i was driving passed and didnt have any time to stop or slow down.

but here are wheels painted same as body (metallic black) with silver lip

Just place an order for 997 TT #3 on waiting list. The dealer said it will deliver 2006 July....anyone get such information from dealership? i thought it will release in 2007
