Cool color. Nice break from the norm. I feel like it would look great with ALL red tail lights to match the red "S"...

so what color is that exactly, and somehow the 'S' is in just the right spot, moved a little from original placement...looks right...lovely...

It is lapis blue I believe, its the same color featured on the front cover in the 50th anniversary issue from Porsche Excellence Mag. There was a yellow/cream G1 911 and then a Lapis blue 991 Cab.

Its great in person because its kind of metallic so you get these great blue to black gradients. In doors it just looks straight up cobalt Blue.

Thank you everyone for your comments and feedback, I've had the car a week and I am still on cloud 9 here.

The red S came on the car - supposedly its a major dealer in the North east that does that to all their Carrera S inventory but, I can't say for sure. Just glad the car was well kept!

You have a very pretty car there. I love how elegant the 997's look in the metallic colours.
