Favorite brand microfiber

Chamois and drying towel for my 997.

The number of products is daunting. Bonus points if this is carried by one of our sponsors.

FWIIW I really like Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II Superior Surface Shampoo.

*If this is too OT I apologize.

i only use microfiber towel. i don't use chamois.

this is the one i use: the guzzler http://www.autogeek.net/microfiber-waffle-weave.html

here is a link to our sponsor and all about microfiber. http://www.autogeek.net/leabmi.html

they also have helpful "detailing how-to's" section - very informative

Nailed it. thanks CrazyCarlitos. That towel looks perfect I'll get a bunch.
Autogeek is great, now you know why I'm overwhelmed. There are hundreds of products and I bet they all work but only a few are 911-worthy

I agree 100%. Just tried Adams Sealant and it seems to be very good as well.
Have not found a detailing spray I like, what do you use?

Don't laugh. TurtleWax Ice. I had a metallic grey car and it was great and seems pretty good on the new car (Atlas Metallic Grey).

For detailing spray, if you have a black car I DO NOT recommend Turtle Wax Black Detailing Spray. It leaves a lot of smudges and streaks that are hard to polish out and it smells like vinegar. I've never been able to get a good result from it.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Griot's when I bought my car a month ago.

I like their Speed Shine detail spray, but I need to find some microfiber that's a little fluffier for that kind of quick clean/dusting type thing. Any suggestions? I do like hte Speed Shine a lot. You have to wipe it down to take the dust and speed shine off then keep another fresh/clean towel on your shoulder to "dry" it the rest of the way. But it looks good and works well. Just concerned about the fine surface scratches I may be doing with this method but it seems to be the norm these days.

I forgot about SpeedShine. Up to the point where I ran out of it SpeedShine was great.

I use their ONR product to wash the car and this to finish it off - black car and this stuff works great.

Love turtlewax ice. Easy too apply (spray). Easy to polish off. Smooth as glass. Beads forever.
