Coolant question
Coolant question
I had a mechanic change my spark plugs and he noticed that I was using regular green coolant I bought at a store. he said I needed to be using the pink stuff g12. he said I needed to flush the green coolant and reuse with g12. I have been using green coolant since I bought it 9000 miles ago with zero problems and no overheating. What should I do? BTW I have a 2006 911s with 51k.

The Porsche pink stuff is $40-60 a gallon!!
I don t know why the car couldn t use the green coolant but someone may.
I m sure it won t overheat but the different chemical compounds may damage the water pump or something. ???
