I need to know if the standard natural brown comes with ugly black plastic pieces as on the 996 or if they developed plastics in matching color for the 997...
TIA and the sooner the better as I have to finalize and sign my dad's order on Thursday...He changed his mind AGAIN from black interior to natural brown on a GT silver 4S cab....

 

I will let you know as my Natural Brown over Basalt is arriving from Brunswick in the next day or so. Hopefully tommorow, then clear bra, and I am no longer a waiter.

 

I believe that unless you order the large leather package, the bulk of the soft touch stuff is black. Sucks, but been that way for a few years.

But we're here to paint that body color anytime!

 

On the 997, if I'm not mistaken, it comes in brown soft touch paint. I'm sure that I've seen natural brown on a couple of 997's that didn't have any black trim. Stunning color combo by the way.

In Porsche 997 catalog . It said Soft-touch paint in inteiror color maining in natural brown color , black film finish on sun visors but I assue your getting that in leather so this does not apply to you and black film finish door enty gauards but as said before assuming you got this in leather to.

But to be honest. I ordered this interior with seal gray exterior and I changed my mind totally when I saw the big leather sheet they have inside.. ask to have a look at the big sheet and if they said they don't have one ask for a guy called Andreaus he is one of the sales people very nice guy and very helpful, and put it inside and outside any silver 911 and see if it works.. It did not work for me..

New interior options are nice.. the two ton color.. I went for black/sand beige.

 

Get the Alu package. A friend of mine has a 997 S that's a white/natural brown combo with the full Alu package and it's a stunner.

 

Its dad's car and he saw a GT w/ natural in London and in a mag on a Cayman S and loved it...
I ordered EVERY alu option and leather sunvisors and full leather (as opposed to leatherette) interior...
Just want to make a final check that no black parts will be in this car!!

The exclusive is the one were you wait like 6 months right .. you get what ever color you dream of interior and exterior.. or am I wrong??

 

yes and no...
Exclusive options mean you can do anything you please to the car provided you got the funds...Some options like custom paint or interior cause significant delays, while others, such as painting a thing or two in alu look are not too bad...

msindi what do you paint in alu.. I think the only stuff you get in alu is the interior line thing were the cup holders are and if you want the steering wheel which I don't really support if your going to use the car latter on the track.... That is as far as Alu package was explained to me . what eles can I get in Alu.. I Want to go and make Andreaus life misrable again by changing adding extra stuff hehehe..

 

who is Andreaus?
There are several alu look options...The alu look pkg does the dash stuff (strip is stand. in alu on C4S) incl. instrument surround and A/C vents, alu doors do the handles and box cover, alu rear center console, alu look sport seat backs
I then ordered through exclusive alu look PCM (a la 996), alu look belt releases in b-pillar, alu look luugage stops (the little hanlde thing when rear seats are folded)...
