Trickle charger issue?

I purchased a new battery in November and placed the car (07 997 C4S) in storage in December with my Ctek trickle charger plugged into the cigarette lighter. When I tried to start it last night it barely started, barely had enough juice to turn over. Has anyone had any issues with the trickle charger plugged into the cigarette lighter? It doesn't seem like its a battery issue because although it's a new battery, it's been sitting two months and we have had extreme temps here in Michigan so I wonder if it's the charger or plug, etc,?

On the CTEK when plugged into the cig lighter, are the lights solid red? Blinking green? Solid green? Mine will blink red without a connection, go solid red when charging a low battery, eventually go to blinking green, and finally solid green.

I've also noticed my cig adapter charger wants to "push out" sometimes. Be sure its seated properly (check the CTEK lights - blinking red, no connection)

Trickle

Duh, should have checked the lights first, sorry! I'm getting no lights at all and I thought I was, so I went out and reseated it in the plug and it appears to be charging now. I'll be glad when spring is here and I'm in the car instead of on the computer!
