Doesnt look super low drive it around the block shut it off and turn the key one click and see what the oil level is if it needs just put half a quart slowly and see what happens in a day or so. Someone else might have a better way to explain it.

You are between the minimum and maximum oil level marks.

Don't worry about it. The good news is you're checking it. As long as the oil is between the two arrows, you're good. Over the top arrow is over full. At or below the bottom arrow, get some more oil in there.

Totally normal to burn the oil, and totally normal if it's not always at the tippity top.

Do you have a 997.1 or 997.2?
I ask because the .2 system is a little more developed.
I myself have a .1 and usually check the oil a few times to get a more accurate picture of what's going on. You don't need to add oil but you should check it every time you full up So you are aware of of what kind of usage you're up against. I try and keep it between half and full myself.

I burn through one quart over the coarse of a typical 5k service interval.

Add some oil to the 1st line from the top and all is well.

But add in a little at a time, maybe 1/4 quart, and check it.

Don't overfill it.

I don't think this came on by itself... The oil level is within range, and the message does not say, "low oil." You probably just accidentally pressed the settings lever near your turn signal lever. (But add 1/4 quart anyway).

FYI our cars lack dipsticks, so the only way to observe oil level is through this electronic gauge. In my car at least it comes on and checks when I turn the ignition key to the ON position. Also note: the sensor is towards the front of the oil sump/tank, so if you park nose down on a slope it will read high/nose up reads low.

Just keep driving her, you are fine at that level. No reason to put more in when you are not low. This car has a massive oil quantity compared to its engine size, even if its 1/4 or 1/2 quart of nominal there is no need to add more untill you drop below that bottome line.
