My feeling is the 6k difference is of no real consequence to a guy like you. However, you might want to consider the cost of owning these two cars for a while. I think the GTS will hold its value better than the C4S. How do you plan on using the car?

I'd get the GTS hands down. I've owned one and I'd still have it if it hadn't been for a pristine GT3 that unexpectedly popped up.

In my 4S I feel way more confident in the tight stuff and applying throttle earlier in the corners. The added weight over the front axle and all four tires clawing at the pavement are an advantage in wet and dry conditions... Although admittedly in the dry straight line acceleration it will tip towards the GTS
From my experiences this is an absolutely spot-on description of GTS under-steer! The first couple times this happened to me I was totally caught out (quite a feeling to be turning the wheel and have nothing happen). At any rate, it is just part of the idiosyncratic nature of the GTS/C2S. Once you get a feel for the car you know exactly what is going to cause this type of under-steer and drive the car such that turn in and throttle application don't upset the car. It's not very hard once you know how your car is going to react to your inputs on certain road characteristics/surfaces.

I also agree totally with your statement. Seat time and driving experience make all the difference too. Both cars are incredible machines and will offer ya miles of smiles. It's knowing those idiosyncracies that make 911 drivers unique

Why do you think there is a all wheel drive system? Why does the 918 and the other, P1 have the system? The engineers and top drivers know why.
Not sure why it's a silly statement. I have had extensive focused time in both a C4S and a GT3 (which is absolutely a rear wheel drive only which we all know) and I can say that it made no difference which car I was in when I was stuck in traffic heading up to get coffee (even if it was raining). If I am at the track the differences would come out. It's not a fair comparison between a C4S and a GT3 in any respect when tracking the two, but I have driven the C4S, C2S, the C2 and the C4 in a track setting and can say that is where I feel the difference. That's all I was trying to say - sorry to have offended you in some way.
