Suncoast has cocoa mats on sale for $29.95. Since I don't have black anywhere else in the interior, I thought the cocoa mats would look pretty cool.

Congrats Don, your new car is beautiful! If you're taking I-77 home, detour down I-81 to Bristol and pick up 421. Between Bristol and Mountain city, 421 is a drivers paradise.

THANK YOU. Any other road trip intel is much appreciated.

There's a ton of construction in WV and not seeing a great way around it. Bright side is DOT says construction is 8PM - 8AM.

Unfortunately rain is the forecast for Friday and Saturday. Don't know what time we'll get out of the dealership, but thinking we'll be looking for a cool place to stay about 5hrs south of Cleveland on I77...maybe I should start a road trip thread

I love the cobalt blue too.

Contemplating having the wheels painted Weiss Gold, leaving the lip AL, OR yellow calipers, but not sure either will work with the tan interior.

Ha, I talked to MG about that car a few weeks back, before my wife said I'm only allowed to get a Cabrio :-) Beautiful car and a great color!
Just be careful driving away from the dealer. Winter has been rough up there and not over yet.

My 996 was a cab and I really enjoyed it, but I think with windows down and sunroof back it will be pretty open in that little ****pit so I think I'll be good with a coupe. Noted on the environment up there. I am concerned about that. Going to ask them to wax the front clip today to help a little. No clear bra on this car...yet.

I ordered all weather mats and new windshield wipers from the Porsche dealer there. My cocoa mats aren't in from Suncoast yet and I'm not sure the wipers on that car have ever been changed.

I agree, a sunroof would be fine with me but since we're getting rid of my wife's Z4 she wanted another convertible to drive. I'm in Cincinnati and picking a 997.2 C4S cabrio up in Atlanta this Sat. Already had them put a new 1/3 car clear bra on before the drive back. Can't wait!

I would have liked to have had the clear bra added too, but closing the deal with MG has proven to be more complicated than I expected so I didn't have time to address it.

We'll probably cross paths on our road trip. Enjoy!!
