Bought a can of plasti dip and decided to spray the apron black on my rear bumper. Makes it look more aggressive by having the exhaust tips pronounced, similar to the new 991's rear bumper.

Definitely the best low cost mod. What's yours?

Thanks - Schnell $300 chrome tips. Couldn't find myself spending over $600 on others. IMO, just as good.

I did the same mod to my car just a couple of weeks ago. I wanted a little bit of GTS style.

However, one day later I took it all off because the black plasti dip was just too dark for my red car. I wish they offered a charcoal colour.

Did this on my white C2S about 3.5 years back. Used 3m vinyl sticker. Looked good to my eye at first....but as with porsche it just goes back to oem after a while...enjoy it.

Yes and no, I have the Schnell tips and bought them for that exact reason. I went with the black chrome which turned gold inside after one track day and started flaking off in a few spots. On the outside they still look fine. That said, a can of high temp black paint will soon be fixing the inside of them, so it's not a big deal and flat black will save me from cleaning them all the time

Love the black apron, considered doing it myself, looks great!

C4SNY - Did you tape off around the valence and spray or did you spray and take an e-xacto knife to finish it off?

Taped around with blue painter's tape. This process is crucial to get a straight, clean line. Take your time....

I also used newspapers to cover the whole rear bumper, exhaust and tail lights to prevent overspray.
