Rear quarter stone guards necessary?
The factory installed rear quarter stone guards on the car started to yellow so I replaced them with brand-new OEM ones. The problem is the new ones don't look that much better because they already have a yellow tint and sticks out very easy on the white paint.
I'd like to hear from those who don't have them installed at all. Do your quarter panels get chipped?

You need them. This is after 2 days at the track. Sure this is rubber but what you can't see is the clear bra beat to hell. Same deal on highway. I guess you don't need them if you don't like paint.
Check out the black stone guards. I replaced my yellowing clear with black and don't regret it at all. I have Meteor Grey. Installation was pretty easy if you want to DIY.

Yikes! I'll keep some protection on for sure but have them custom cut using Xpel film instead. The new ones I received were most likely old stock.

I got magnetic ones that I bought second hand and never installed. Excellent condition, look new. Too lazy to put them on and my clear ones look fine because I have a black car. Pm me if interested.
