Sweet ! Been checking that out -- supposedly quicker and a lot better than its predecessor.

Really? Is this all you had to say?!?

Pleeese... tell us more.
1) did you have Bose / non-Bose?
2) was is just a one-to-one replacement with the original PCM?
3) did you have to replace the Amplifier?
4) any wire cutting & slicing required, or was it plug-n-play?

Thanks in advance.

I'm interested as well. I've read a lot about this online, and all I really took away was leave it alone. The idea of needing to swap out amps, wiring, or anything else just seems so difficult, for what many years ago was a very straightforward endeavor. My listening habits have morphed into mainly NPR, so I don't have an issue with Bose sound quality. I mainly dislike the dated look and find the navigation useless. Did you lose any Sport Chrono functionality?

NEX 7000 install

I had the 7000 installed a couple of months back, a definite improvement on my 05 C2, kept the Bose speakers and amps. My issue is a high pitch tone in sync with the engine RPM. Any Ideas?

High pitch which is in-sync with RPM is, in almost all cases, due to bad (or not so good) grounding. Quick fix is to add a noise suppressor.

Did you install it yourself? If so, recheck or relocate the grounding points.

GL!

Ground loop isolator almost always fixes the RPM interference noise.

Also interested in sound quality.
