Depot DRC 997.1 Gen2 LED Backup Light

Hi all, have question about the backup light bulbs that come with these lights. Are they regular white or LED bulb? Everything works except for the nagging code "Check reverse lights". Mine came with LED bulbs.

Of course i can swap them with regular bulb but want to know first.

Thank in advance...

I didn't think there were any replaceable bulbs in the Depo / Dectane type - thought the Rottec / DelRey Customs type had a replaceable bulb.

Do you install the inline resistors? I remember that CEL came up on mine before I installed the resistors.

Yes, there are two gold inline resistors for each light. Backup lights works fine, just the annoying code. Car is at PP Porsche for cooling system check, they promise to look at it.

If you have the gold inline resistors sounds like your lights are not the Depo/Dectane lights but the others (Rottec/DelRey) - if that's the case, the answer to your original question is the backup light is replaceable and it is not an LED light. Where did you purchase the lights? Used?

I know for sure they are not Rottec as i had them before. These are DRC (delrey custom). Bought them used here, i still have the original box, pretty sure it said Depot...will check tonight.

Well if they are from DelRey, the back-up light bulb is replaceable (watch his install video) and it is not LED.
