How many of the 997/997S owners are satisfied with their cars?

 

i can't vote since i don't own a 997/997s,
but i want to get one soon. I have driven many cars and I think i would chose the 997 over those cars in a heartbeat.

i think thos who chose option 2; should also specify which car they would prefer. I would lke to know and possibly compare to see if i agree or not.

Please could those who aren't happy with the car state their reasons?

 

whoever voted for opt 3 is just retarded because you should have test drove the car before you boughted... and if you have bought the car you should not be dissapointed because it is a Porsche... you can buy a car and get dissapointed afterward when it is a Toyota or Honda or Kia but just no Porsche... you are spending 100K on a car that there is no substitude for... anything other than partially satisfied is just BS... whoever chose opt 3 must be excisting 996TT owners that DO NOT own a 997...

 

I am 100% satisfied with my 997S. But then again, I also knew what to expect from it. This is my second 911, my first is an '82 911SC Targa which I still own.

Are the two that are disappointed get the non-S 997 I wonder?

If you aren't satisfied with a $100K purchase, especially after test driving one, you truly need to start making better spending choices. Unbelievable anyone wouldn't be satisfied with a 997S.

They won't be disappointed until the new 997TT comes out and they want one of those (or maybe the 997 GT3). Other than that, I've driven several and absolutely love the car and plan on owning one in the foreseeable future.

 

theres nothing to be disappointed with the none S. It rocks just as much.........as any Porsche

 

I too own a 997 base model. It was on the first shipment of 06s that arrived at my local dealership. I have had many fine cars in my life an this 997 is at the top of the list. Best car I have ever driven. I'll keep it for a few years and possibly look into the 997TT.
