I am coming from a long list of modified cars and myblast Porsche was a 996tt. I wanted a 997 S, which I Could have an older model or one with more miles but when i came across this C2 simply fell innlove with it. It had all the options I would want. It was very clean, dent and scratch free. I plan on custimizing this car along the OEM+ line with quality aftermarket parts sprinkled in, and eventually pass onto my Son. I have other go fast toys which are irrelevant to this thread. Now onto the pics:
yea man car looks nice my c2 is still stock to the bone this nyc weather is killing me!! i wish mines had those options..i did my gear oil too and i notice my tranny started shifting harder when cold compare to when i bought the car..
Thank you for the kind words YNOT, your car was always an inspiration. I am pulling my steering wheel and send it to Dallas Customs for alcantara wrap with 12 o'clock stripe! Also ordered red gauge faces and chrono in red. Thinking about red belts also.

Thanks, your car is looking better and better. Can't wait to see the rest of your mods.
Took the car for a spin yesterday. New badge of parts arriving this coming week. Also took advantage of nice mid 70s weather today and did a spring cleaning. Discovered some swirl marks on couple of panels and water marks so I will be doing a full detail in the next few weeks. Here is an interior shot I took also:
Cool pics Turtle. Looks like Mr.Owl approves also!.
Have you considered either a stock Porsche short shifter, or perhaps a numeric racing shifter? Numerics race cables are out of this world too if changing out the shifter. the oem cables suck! ...poor feel.
