Greetings


Been researching 997s and am pretty keen on what I THINK are GT3 Alcantara steering wheel and shifter.


My question was if this was a factory option available on non-GT3s? If so what code or package should I look for on original sticker?


I have not been looking at GT3s and don't really want to as they are simply too much $$$. I have , however seen two non-GT3 997s with this trim in the past 8 or so months I've been seriously looking. I realized they could have been aftermarket mods but was hoping a few enthusiasts spec'ed their cars with these options.

It was standard on the 997.2 GTS for sure. Not sure that any other 997.1 non GT3's had the option. You can of course buy the factory parts and add them if you like. Seems like I remember it costing around $1k for the shifter and steering wheel.

 

do a search on Suncoast. They have lots of options in Alcantara

 

Thanks guys.......saw an Aqua blue with stone interior......color matched interior accents....dang good looking.

 

Google "exclusive option Porsche" if looking for full leather parts. Finish is better quality than OEM IMO. Great guy to work with too!

Check out MAcarbon and you can configure your own wheel.
Alcantara can get a bit ratty so carbonn or leather grips may be a good option
