Don't buy them if you don't know the offset - pretty important piece of info. You might look inside the wheel and see if it's stamped in there. Front and rear will usually be different numbers. What car - wide body or narrow body?
narrowbody i have the wheels already just looking for tires but they where on a nb 997 gt3 i also have kw v3 to put on the car to adjust height. i might need something for camber adjustment

mk3boy, what offset are your rears?
Owl, the general rule of thumb is that if you install a tire on a wider wheel, the section width of the tire will increase 2/10th of an inch for every 1/2 inch wider the wheel is.
So, the 315 that barely clears on mk3boy, will be about 1/10th of an inch wider on both the inside and outside of the wheel, if the same tire is used. Not a huge difference, but if it is already going to be super tight, then that little bit extra could cause rubbing.
If a 315 or 305 doesnt work, you could try stretching on a 295. But I personally wouldnt mount a tire on a 911 that was not within manufacturers specs. And to be clear, the 315 has a max recommended tire width of 12", so even that is too narrow.
Only the 325 will allow you to mount to a 12.5 within specs, and I really don't think that is going to work for you without fender work.
HOLD UP A SECOND! HOW ARE YOU DETERMINING THE WHEELS ARE 9.5 and 12.5 widths ????????
You arent measuring from the outside, are you?????

You measure width from the inside, not the outside.
Your wheels are likely 8.5 and 11.5, which makes perfect sense. Forget everything that was previously posted.
Look at the pic in this article and remeasure the width.

Confirm the measurements and then proper advice can be given.
8.5 and 11.5 are standard widths, and youll likely have no problems fitting them on your car.

i measure the front inside and it is 8.5 so i guess they should fit fine!! even though a shop i went too wanted to charge me a few hours of labor (100/hr)just to test fit since they said they where too wide and would rub!!
