What's your budget? And how picky are you about SQ?

I already have all the speaker and amps... Just trying to figure out the most adequate way of installing the subwoofer... Actually, I talked to the guy at the stereo shop and he said just add an amplified for the stock sub... He said it's not getting 10 or 12 inch sub, but it will give me enough base... Anyone done that before...? Or suggestion...?

custom fiberglass enclosure that occupies the area behind the rear seats and the rear parcel shelf. You can get a 13" shallow sub (like the JL 13TW5) back there. Alternatively, 2 or 3 10" subs in the same location aiming forward. Either option will give you the best bass, unless you want to sacrifice your two rear seats and do a real custom job. There are also single medium-depth 10" enclosures that take up the front passenger well and dual shallow 8-10" enclosures that occupy the part of the footwells for the rear passengers. They also have enclosures that replace the Bose enclosure, probably dual or triple 7-8". Or you can go super ghetto and just stuff some polyfill in the OEM Bose enclosure and call it a day. Good luck.

Here is the custom sub enclosure I built for the back seat area. One side is for a 10" sub downward firing. The other side is a storage box with a hinged lid.

Hey, pretty nice! I take it you don't get a lot of back seat passengers?

BTW, is your enclosure bolted to the car for safety?

Yes I wouldn't subject anyone to sit back there.

The unit is secured to a custom bracket I made that bolts into the seat belt holes. Nothing modified in the car so it can go back to stock if needed. The unit weighs about the same as the seats that came out.

Here's the bracket. It has rubber grommets so the car vibration is isolated from the subwoofer box.

I upgraded my speakers, can't remember the brand, but very nice sounding coaxial, and added an amp to the Subwoofer. I swapped the head unit with a Pioneer AVIC 8000NEX.
