Can anyone recommend a good audio shop in the NYC/LI area? I have the non-Bose setup so I really want to upgrade my interior speakers and get a new sub in as well. Thanks in advance.

Sound Dimension Plus (516) 364-5599) in Syosset has done a lot of audio, radar detector and car detailing work on my Porsche and many of my friend's luxury cars. Ask for Lou or Paul, they are the owners. Honest guys that always do the right thing for their customers. Tell them Jeff with the 2009 Gray 911 4S sent you. Good luck.

 

I actually got my aftermarket stereo installed there but they didn't want to mess with installing subs. Thanks for the input tho Jeff.

 

That's strange. Any custom audio shop should be more than happy to install a sub or fabricate a sub box. It's pretty basic. Like asking a plumber to unclog a drain line.

 

If you're willing to take a short trip up the I-95 to CT, I highly recommend DJ Auto Sound & Security in Greenwich, CT. They did excellent work on my Lexus. Changed all speakers, custom sub & amp enclosure, and processor + tuning. I was in Audiophile heaven with the finished product. They carry Audison/Hertz and JL.
