IPD Plenum GT3 Plenum & Throttle Body

Am I the only one who is just underwhelmed by N/A motor bolt on mods? It seems to offer a bit of punch at 5000 rpm and up, but like others have claimed, low end grunt is lessened by this mod.

I got the GT3 TB with Softronic Plenum and EvoM intake box.
The car did not run very smooth in temp below 50. I would constantly get CEL errors on MAF. Yes i checked voltage with Duramatic, MAF seemed fine. I guess too much air is moving outside of Porsche programmed range.
The intake did make a tiny difference above 3K, but no difference when added the TB and Plenum to it.
I ordered a Softronic tune, hopefully i'll get it installed this week.
Keeping fingers crossed it will make a difference.

Otherwise it will not do as much as everyone hopes.

Don - I gave each side a shot of silicon spray, they went on in less than five minutes. The entire project took less than an hour start to finish. There is a noticeable increase in power between 4,200 and 6,500 RPMs. I have to tweak the tune to fill in the gap on the low end power. I should have don this a longtime ago.

EVOM - it's going to be done later this month, put in and Dyno at Porsche dealership here in Tampa. They have a speed shop that host cars and coffee events. They run a race team and host PCA events at Sebring several times a year. They are good people.

That is awesome.

Does anyone offer an intake manifold spacer? I've noticed a few cars can benefit from spacing the manifold a bit; not sure if it would even fit in this application or if it would gain anything, but thought I'd ask...
