Coming to the collective for some guidance on this one...

I did a few searches and found other posts with the P0441 code but were all pertaining to the Cayenne or Boxter. I have 07' 997.1 C4S and it is throwing this code. Here is what the Durametric Tool shows.




No rough starts
No slow starts
No Whistle sounds
Tried resetting but code came back after 1-2 days.
Have a new gas cap on order as a lost cost first attempt at resolution...
Any suggestions/thoughts?

Ive got a "06 C4S that will give the same code intermittently...My Indy says there must be some kind of leak? somewhere in the system....don't remember the exact wording. Doesn't affect the performance but is somewhat nervwracking when CEL comes on and then have to rechk and verify each time

 

Quick Update:
I replaced the gas cap with a new OEM, reset error codes and so far after 2 weeks no codes thrown. If it pops back up, I'll update the thread...
