Since we're not welcome in the silver or black thread , why not have a thread of our own. So post up your blue pcar modded or not. I'm bored of stock look so I need some inspiration to get my mod started.
1st mod bug was smoked markers & signals, DEPO tail lights. I just got the windows tinted. What a difference it makes.

MarkC2s - where did you get your turn signals smoked? I have Midnight Blue as well and I want to get the led signals but wanted them smoked as well.

I tinted the signal lights myself. It's easy to do if you have a heat gun to shrink the film to the curvature of the lights. I may go another route later with clear coat mix with blk paint. I don't like how 997.1 signal lights lines up with the lower grill. If you look at the 997.2 ( above pic ), they matched perfect. That's why I went with the dark look to cover up.

Great looking car MkC2S - love those wheels on it - I mean really, where else have wheels like that ever been on a car but Porsche - at least as far as I know. So iconic and classic. The blues is good!

Last photos are test fitting some 991 20" wheels, I'm torn on the look.
I know I need to replace the tires with 30/25 profile tires.

Thoughts?

 

thanks, I have mix feeling about the lobster claw. Maybe if I lower the car, It would look better?

 

luv that blue, I think 20" look too big, but that's just me. It work on the 991 b/c the car is bigger & wider than the 997, just stick with 19". you don't want to look like this. LOL vvvvvvv
