San diego / Carlsbad Area PPI assistance

Hi Guys,
I called over to Hoehn and they will not do a PPI for me or even get me some service records (carfax show them as the servicing dealer for the life of the car). The dealer won't take the car off site for an inspection. So, I am looking for someone in the area that can go to the dealer and verify condition and just make sure this car is what I think it is.

Any suggestion?

Thanks for any assistance!
Matt

Is it cpo? If so, if price is competitive (in line with cars in the market. ..check cars.com, carguru.com, autotrader.com......) then you're good.

Unfortunately no. Hoehn appears to have sold it at auction and a small independent lot picked it up. Everything seems good, just some very mixed reviews of the dealer which have me concerned.

I plan to fly out and drive it back to Michigan, so want to make sure there are no unintentional service stops on the way home.

Try ACG in San Diego....they work on Porsche and are very good at what they do. I worked with them when I had my AMG. They will do a PPI....but if the dealer will not let it go off the lot, they may go and see it for you.

Which dealer in San Diego has the car right now. I am local and can take a quick look but there are some smaller dealers here that nobody wants to do business with due to tactics like this.

Its at European Auto Connection in San Marcos. Yelp reviews have me wanting to be cautious.
Thanks!

You really think no, even if I have the car checked out? I really liked this one!

If ACG can get out and inspect it then you might be able to pull a deal. These guys are pretty low on the totem pole in terms of the cars that they sell. If Hoehn decided not to resell the car as CPO then something is wrong with it, definitely if it is in a good color or option pack.

Black Forest in town can do the inspection as well if required.

Yeah, this deal is dead. They must have something they don't want found out about the car because they wont even let it down the road... and that should not be an unreasonable request.
