We use the best 200 cell sport catalytic converters we can get our hands on they are HJS directly imported from Germany. Quality really does make a difference we have seen countless time where aftermarket cats have failed after only a short while. I posted a video below that explains the benefits of our x-pipe over traditional crossover pipes in addition to the increase exhaust scavenging it also refines the exhaust tone.
So many 200 cell cats on the market from $700 (no name brand) new on eBay, to $2500 for named brands, or even used named brands for $1000 or more.
Does the quality of these really make a difference?
I have Remus headers and mufflers now but never changed the cats.
Also x pipe or standard?
the brand name ones are usually more expensive because of the cats they use. HJS will last a long time and will not throw any kind of check engine light. Well worth the investment but HJS cats are really expensive
I have an old version of the AWE tuning cats that have magnaflow cats instead of HJS. So far so good but I may just be lucky

the saying what you paid is what you get is true...do not go the cheap route, or the check engine light, car smell like gas, dronning, or poor performance is what you get...do your home work and spend the money right. Nothing beat new IMO.
my setup Brombacher headers & 200 cells for Porsche Sport Exhaust.
This setup is expensive but man...i love the sound, acceleration, throttle respond.

I just bought a set of lightly-used (less than 1,000 miles) set of Fabspeed Sport Headers & 200-cell cats to install on my 2010 C4S Cab with PSE ..... I can't wait to hear the enhanced exhaust note and enjoy a few extra horses...
Does anyone happen to have any video of this set up so I can hear what this bad boy is gonna sound like after I get it installed next week? Or any video of any of your bad-a** exhaust set ups for that matter

Please see the link below to hear my 2011 997 4S with Fabspeed's 200 cell cats and their X-pipe. Install was very straight forward, but one of my posts has some notes you should read before you attempt it.
Thanks Utah, your C4S sounds awesome.... I completed my install of my new Fabspeed Sport Headers and 200-Cell Cats connected to my PSE, and have posted the results on this YouTube clip (I've got the PSE "Off" until about 25sec, then "On" for the rest of the clip):
North Shore, very nice sound, thanks for posting. Just to be sure can you confirm that you only replaced the headers and cats and left the factory third muffler in place? My set up with the headers, cats, and X pipe in place is loud. Maybe too loud for my taste now that I have lived with it for a while so I am debating putting my 3rd muffler back. Will probably lose some of the rush above 4000 rpm, but with the PSE on at that RPM is literally shrieks.

Utah - Yup, I did NOT delete the 3rd muffler. As it is, the bigger headers and higher-flow cats make the PSE literally SCREAM under acceleration above 4,000 RPM, but it's more manageable at lower RPM's and actually thoroughly enjoyable. This is my DD, so I wanted to try and get the best of both a screaming exhaust note (PSE on above 4,000 RPM) while also not blowing my neighbors away when I leave the house for work at 6am (PSE off, and I stay below 3,000 RPM in my neighborhood)
But once I leave my immediate neighborhood, I turn PSEW on and tend to shift at around 5,000 RPM to I hear this awesome machine open up and scream down the highway
