Thinking of doing a 4.0L upgrade to the 3.8

Hey guys


I am thinking of doing a 4.0L upgrade from the standard 3.8L in the Carrera S.


Anyone done this before? I am aware I would need to replace the pistons and sleeves... anything else? Injectors maybe?

There are multiple threads on http://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum-113/ regarding scored pistons and cylinders. You should take a look at them. It is obviously a very expensive, tedious and long procedure and mostly reserved for people who have issues with their 997.1 engines.
