How Fast would a 4.0 997 S be?

I've been searching all over, I'm wondering how fast would a bored to 4.0L 6 speed 997 S be with full bolt ons. I'm talking headers, 200 cell cats, cat back exhaust, gt3 throttle body and plenum, and fabspeed intake for example? Power estimates, 0-60, 1/4mi?

Guess I should answer the rest of the question....

Mines a 2006 C4S bored to 4L. Has everything except the intake. I cant answer your 0-60 or 1/4 mile as I have never tested it. As far as power, again it hasn't been on a dyno yet as I am waiting till I tune it. However another guy I know did run a dyno with the same setup and I think we came up with around 400-410 bhp. Definitely more grunt and sounds like a demon!

That's what I would have guessed that 400-420 ballpark. I'd be interested to see three torque curve. You wouldn't happen to have any sound clips or vids of yours huh?

No teasing going on, I just don't have a dyno chart as I haven't put it on a dyno!

I figured that was the case but with so little info out on where the 4.0 conversion lands in terms of HP/Tq figures the anticipation is palpable. I'm prodding you...

Just to wet everyone's appetite here's a chart from a well known builder on the west coast:

Stock 3.6 base Carrera vs (full meal deal) 4.0.

$15-20K depending on a few factors.

I had a quote form HARTECH in the UK for substantially less this past winter. Really hard to judge the rebuild conversion cost. Some will have you believe it's next to impossible to rebuild these motors and takes hundreds of man hours and therefore the price is $20K ++. Conversely I've had conversations with builders that were very open/honest and the true time involved & costs are more transparent.

Still in the planning / fact finding process myself.

Mine will be about a 22K to 25K build. That dyno up there means that car is making roughly 430HP at the crank.
