Need help. Lost all the torque. Slow car.

Hi everyone,
Need your help as I don't know what is going on with my 2006 911S.
The car is driving with little to no torque. In second gear, the car barely climbs in torque or speed. It's driving like an old Honda civic, LOL.
Any ideas on what could cause this? My mechanic wants to start by doing a full service on the car. It has been 8 years since I did a full service, but I have only put on 14000 miles since then. Current mileage is 31000 miles.
I had the car chipped and had a throttle body mod done 7 years ago with no issues ever. Could it be one of those mods?
Thanks,
Shaun

Lets start here:
  1. Is the CEL / Visit Workshop light on?
  2. If so, what are the P codes?
  3. Any noises?
  4. What's the idle at and is it stable or does it hunt up and down?
  5. Are you running the stock airbox and filter?

Is the RPM increasing when throttling despite the lack of speed? If so, it may be a slipping clutch.

rpm does increase with speed. The mechanic said it was my gas petal sensor. Had to replace the entire petal as everything is attached. $395 for petal and 5 hours for diagnostics, test drive and installation. I thought the 5 hours was a bit excessive. Drove it home and it started doing it again! Drove it again today back to the mechanic and it was working fine. He is going to check the codes again as he said it could be the Photo...., which I didn't understand.
Stay tuned!
Thanks for the reply.
