Hi,
Looking for some advise, My rear exhaust heat shield (part where it blocks the exhaust from the rear bumper) seems to be rattling and I can't seem to make it stop no matter how I tried securing it (new rivets, checking if nay connections are loose etc.)
Was just thinking of removing the entire thing along with the bumper crash guards (may solve my rattling issue plus a little bonus weight saving).
Are the exhaust hot enough to cause damage to the paint/bumper if the heat shield is removed?
