997.1 Moving from PS9 to lowering springs

So after a year of driving with the Bilstein PS9 I found them to be way to harsh for my city driving. Yes they are amazing canyon carvers and a complete track star, but for the city slicker, just too much bouncing around for my taste.

Now having them removed and installing the factory shocks along with a Eibach pro-kit. Shop is replacing the strut mounts while putting the suspension back. If this becomes a failed experiment will then go completely stock and just sell the car. Hopefully the lowered springs will make it more complacent than the threaded shocks. We will see tomorrow when the car is done.

stay tuned.....

So, removed the Bilstein PSS9 and have placed the original suspension with Eibach lowering springs. I just admit the ride is much better. I'm happy to report the eibach springs drive very much like the stock springs just slightly stiffer. It's a good balance. Yes I know the coil overs are great and the proper set up but was just too harsh for me and the kids.

The only issue is that I noticed the front much lowered than the rear. I am assuming the car needs to settle more. Also I scrape the front on every single driveway, every approach. I have a Ferrari also and bought that was low. This scrapes everywhere.

im hoping with a few hundreds miles the car will settle and with an alignment the vehicle will get better.

Well if the car settles its not going to get "better" as far as the scraping is concerned. Looks like youre going to have to sell the car, which seems a bit extreme...and btw prob could have kept this to 1 thread instead of 3
