Help Needed for Headlamp Adjustment Fault

I have a "headlamp adjustment fault" on startup. With my Foxwell NT530 and am able to see through the live data that the left motor position does not changing as I drive. I also see a fault code on the module (8040) which noted "No Signal/Communication- DTC-LN Bus stepper motor, HBA left". The headlamps move both vertically and horizontally when I do the light switch/key position calibration test. I would assume this means that there is either a wiring connection or module issue not the stepper motor.

Has anyone seen this or have any thoughts on how I can find the source of my problem?
