Convertible top stuck half way after new driving mechanism
Hi, my clamshell would open only on one side and it was a defective driving mechanism, I bought a new one and I installed it. first I didn't calibrate the potentiometer and the clamshell would open only halfway but the top would open fully.
I reset the potentiometer and follow workshop manual saying I should have 6.2kOhm. Now clamshell open fully but top opening only halfway and stopping. I am guessing maybe a microswitch touched too early or the potentiometer is not set right. anyone who have done this install before?
