I picked up the latest edition of Excellence and came across an advert by TPC claiming 505 hp and 427 ft/lbs torque on their latest s/c kit with PnP technology... time for Evo to bump it up.

Doesn't add up .. the dyno shows 370hp on a stock 997?

Of course, Billy, you list 530hp in your sig line for your EVOMS supercharged 997S, which I understand is a correct and verified-on-the-dyno figure (434rwhp x 1.22 for 18% drivetrain loss), so I'd say EVO has already bumped it up enough . . .

 

that of course was due to a complete aftermarket exhaust. Being the first to have the 3.8l s/c, you and I were blessed with unique programming made for our exhaust.... production kits will be tuned for the oem exhaust and will have the advertised 470+ hp.... happy drives Russ!!... I know, you can't stop giggling, power is amazing!

 

Yea, I noticed that to... That must be the crank hp because it says B.H.P. on the left side

They must have multiplied by a little too much and got 370hp for the stock 997S, instead of the factory rating of 355hp... That's just my guess...
