M3 with 455Rwhp should be faster than a stock 996TT Auto ( but AA stage two usually makes around 415rwhp with boltons unless its a stage three that was a proto type used on the phoenix yellow M3 with NOS that made approox 500whp)

The 996TT is faster than the 997s....

Divexxtreme should be able to answer the question of which car is actually faster 100% since he also owns a supercharged M3 with boltons.

 

Yes it should be faster. The usual stage 2's are making mid 4xx whp. The stage 1's are making high 400's. They really got the tuning down now.

Theres actually more like 10 stage 3's around.

I have both a stage 3 SC M3 and a stage 2 996tt. Although the M3 isnt the regular kit, its much faster then the stage 2 996tt.

BTW 60-130 is the same in any car my brotha, each car are a little off speedo wise from what im told. I obviously cant run the Z06 guy, he's around the country from me and just gave me his time's in a PM so i did the same back! And i even invited Allan's friend to this euro event posted on Ferrari chat and he made up an excuse, also said he can only bring one car, wtf?! I said just bring your gallardo, he never responded :/ I could have had people videotape for us, oh well!

Anyway Evan's car seem to run pretty well, even against jerry's car on boost he lost but only by a few cl's, Jerry's is pretty damm light too.

I wish i had some SC M3's to run, only one friend i know has it, he';s in TWC, you've probably seen him on e46 or know him from TWC, Ant with the white M3. His **** is running terribly and im trying to help him get it sorted out, otherwise there still arent any in NY/Jers

Id love to see the dyno, im interested in all the M3 dyno's, not just yours.

Speedos can be off, although it could be somewhat comparable a real race is much better. I dunno the deal with the guy, but if you go to these meets im sure someone is up for alittle race. It happens here everytime.

 

Stage 1's are making low 4xxwhp.

Evans car is very fast for a stage 2. He dyno'd 47x rwhp, thats really not normal. K16's are looking at MAX 520hp engine HP and Evan is passed that.

 

Ok well i'll give him a call after the 4th, try and get a sheet or more spec's. I know he dyno'd because a few 6speed guys pm'd me saying how sick the car sounded and so on, they didnt know the number's!

Yea this guy talked alot man, again no need to lie. I invited him out to this euro meet with some people from E46 who would film, but i guess a no go for him. Thing is , NY hardly has any meets where these guys drive their cars or do runs, only comparable meet to a Cali meet is the Ferrari day here at the Miracle Mile which is like the Crystal Cove you guys have, and this is once a damm year :/

That's why i told you i go out with the Viper guys, they drive and go out alot, otherwise even the porsche guys never really get together, so i will start setting things up for the 6speed tri state guys. Im going to go out with the Ferrarichat guys, i know a few have some sick cars and looks like they drive alot too, just came across the site and started checking so i'll see about that, one guy has a Gallardo also!

Anyway i feel even if i ran a car on the highway there would be excuses of what if the guy couldnt drive, or i know for a fact he cant drive his car, blah blah that's why i wanted him to come out and do it in front of people on film, imc onfident i guess he isnt!
Anyway the speedo comparo's are a great measure of a cars capability, that's why i compare to people who ask!


Yea i have a good feeling my car is right up there with Evan's, we have same tune and everything, but i have a few more things on my car (evo v flow, wastegates, no cats)

Like i said, im also going to dyno my car this week on pump gas and on race. Do you mix your gas in when its low, or fully drain it out somehow?

 

What this means is that your friend's car isn't making a true 455 to the wheels. He is probably making 380 or so, in all actuality. My (now sold) S/C'd M3 was making less than 440 rwhp (416 at 7.5 psi...maybe 435 or so at 9.0 psi) ...and I raced a stock X50 package TT that trapped 119 mph from a roll 3 times at 9.0 psi. We were a dead heat each time. I have it on video.

Also, a 996TT is significantly faster than a 997S...all things being equal.

FYI...for the guy that said the 996TT is lighter, that is not correct. The E46 M3 is the lighter car.
