If you go to the U.K Porsche site you see these performance numbers attached to the 997TT:
Manual:
0-62: 3.9s
0-99: 8.4s
50-75: 3.5s
Tip:
0-62: 3.7s
0-99: 7.8s
50-75: 3.5s
According to Porsche, Tip is faster due to the transmission's ability to anticipate a standing start by brake torquing to deliver full boost immediately.

It's not right. Those 0-99 numbers that were posted for the 997TT are not much better than for the 997 non S.
Who in their right mind would pay that when you can get the same performance in a base model?

Those slow times for the 0-100 are bogus. That number looks like it's the total time to go 0-100 and then back to 0 again.
