No flywheel. I was told by someone that I'm the newest car they've done and that the engine code could be different. I'm actually thinking they could be right though and it might be a diverter valve. Mine tests good on the vacuum, but the frequency of dying has lessened since we blew through it, but not totally gone. We'll see.

Ill, did you do EVO to get all that power? I can't remember.

I just spoke with Todd at Evo and now feel like everything is going to be wonderful. He's shipping me a new diverter valve today, which isn't something he manufactures. He's sending me the new one that he is picking up. I'll be installing it tomorrow and this should fix all of my woes. He was wonderful on the phone today. He's moving into a new shop and has been taking care of that. Anyways, soon I will be at the end of this and I will fully report on the whole experience. I just want to be wise on my conclusions and keep them to myself until through.

Thanks much.

Great news man, patience help's alot, especially being polite but still voicing out your experience and problem's. I didnt expect anything less from the Evo guys to send you out a new one, they seem like good people with an amazing business!

Well, I rec'd a new Bypass Valve from Evo. It's metal and not plastic, for what that's worth. I put it on Wednesday night in my garage and it drove fine... to the airport. I've been out of town since then and don't really have much to say. It does whistle and all that A LOT more than it did, which hopefully will continue to be cool. Thanks for checking in on it. I'm just wanting to drive it around a day or so and see if it kills before I type something up. I'll be in tomorrow night around midnight, so I will be posting Saturday.

Peace out...

Hey guys,

An update... after installing the new aluminum blow off valve, I'm sad to say that the problem isn't resolved. It died on me at a red light last night. I must point out that it is the weekend and Todd at Evo has had no chance to offer another suggestion. We'll get there. I'll keep you all posted. I really, really wish this weren't acting up. The car has great pull and is wonderful other than this... but this is a BIG THIS, if you know what I mean. I'll let you know what we try next...

It died on me a few times last night too. I should know better than to even notice this, as it likely has NO importance at all... but it only dies at night. What in the world is up with that? Otherwise, I totally suggest this kit to all of you. It is so incredibly fast.

I hate to hear your dealing with this, but that is one hell of a ride you got. Kudos man. When all those gremlins are slain, you are going to have one of the baddest rides on the planet. Cheers bro!

Thanks much cynicali. It's really a killer car. I'm happy... if it doesn't die.
