I've searched and haven't found whether the 997S comes with TPMS standard. I want to get some new wheels, but I need to know what I am dealing with first. Please no flaming - I just want to make sure I get the right gear.

If you're asking about 07 model year - I don't have the answer. For the 06 model year, TPMS was a $590 option (option code 482). From what I've read so far it looks like TPMS will be standard on 07 vehicles.

 

I have an '06 - I'll have to check the sticker, but I don't believe it has them... Thanks for the reply.

 

It is standard on the 2007.

 

I should also have suggested that you check the information center in the tach - do you see a tire pressure icon that shows the pressures of all 4 wheels - if not, probably don't have TPMS.

 

Yeah, I've never seen that - I've seen all the others (PASM, Sport, etc.) but no tire pressures...

 

It's one click below the "Fuel Range" reading. If you don't have it, consider your self lucky.

u can tell by just looking at the valve stem on the wheel without getting into the car as well.
