C4S Cab...How special?

I have a 2006 C2 coupe, Carrera white, etc. but have an opportunity to get a 2006 C4S cab, Arctic w/nat bwn, etc.
For 50% MORE IN PRICE/COST is it worth it? My wife has a Boxster so I am familiar with open cars.

50% more for a cab (becasue that's really all you'd be getting) ? Only you can decide that. I'd say that if you already have a drop top in the family, it isn't worth it.

But you'll get no increased performance.

C2 coupes run low the same as the C4S'. C4S coupes run 12.6-12.8@110-112. just as fast as a 997S.

Wait a year or two and you will see the prices drop a bit more gradually. If you were to trade up now; you would be takeing a big depreciation hit. IMO, its not really worth it... You already have a 2006 C2, enjoy it.

Why not get into an 07? I just negotiated a 07 C4S with more equipment for about the same 06 less equipment because of the higher bank residuals. Look into it.

That's not worth it...you already have a cabrio ( ok your wife ) but I think you still drive it sometimes.
Keep your C2S

I have a 06 C2S cab. I drove a C2S and C4S about 3 different time before I bought my car. It came down to I'd take any 2s or 4s but perfered the 2S. The 4S and my wife agreed felt like a much heavier car and muted from the road. We both really wanted that Porsche connected to the road feel.

Everyone needs to be happy with what they buy and feel like they made the right choice. That is great that you test drove both versions. I for one just got my C4S and it handles like a glove. It feels nimble enough with the additional HP and the cornering because of the all wheel drive is amazing. I went out in it today taking some pretty sharp corners and boy it really sticks...just my experience.
