Broke the wheels loose!

Today on the way home I was at a stop. I looked around and there were no cars, so I eased out the clutch and than when the clutch was all out I floored it. I am pretty sure I broke the right rear wheel loose for a second. Is that possible with the PSM on? Or did the car just briefly hop?
Anyway it felt pretty fast and when I got home I smelled something unusual, and then I realized it was rubber burning.

yea PSM prob had to do with that. i know when im driving i can chirp from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd but if the PSM is on, i will only get a slight chirp and then the PSM cuts it off. try it with the PSM off and enjoy!

Blakshukvw,

I don't think so. I didn't have the clutch engaged.

That doesn't really matter. Those things are such POS's any hard clutch drops on them is freightening in my opinion.

Anyway - was the ground wet when u did this? any gravel on the road? Or was it just raw power on pavement that broke em loose? Either way, great car.....but like above ^^^, turn off that PSM and have some real fun!

You should definitely try it. It is such an awesome feeling that you want to break the rear loose all the time, but its costly The more you can control it the more you want to do it. I can break loose my C4S rear loose with PSM if the pavement is not that sticky and I have a tipS car. With PSM off I can foul the system and it is such a fun until the fronts kick in more.

Previously in my M3, I mastered breaking the rear loose I am thinking a C2S is even more fun!

I break the rear loose all the time on my TIP with traction on .. depends on how slippery the road is. When you put it in sport mode it gives you a bit more space to play with.

Ponzios, I don't go there anymore, but when I was young my parents loved it there. Ground was not wet and no gravel.
