Rear Spoiler Failure!

I’ve installed the official porsche aerokit cup for my carrera S including the wing (rear spoiler). Every time I exceed 120 km/hour a message appears indicating rear spoiler failure. I already asked the dealer who installed the aerokit to fix it and they don’t know how!
And one knows how can I fix it?

Take it to another dealer... Your car thinks it still has the movable stock spoiler...

Come to Kuwait .. We can take care of you.

The dealer needs to install the wiring kit to disable the spoiler and also disable it from the ECU.

there's no wiring kit needed like 996. for 997 all u have to do is deactivated it in the tester. have the dealer hook it up then the selection is in the ''rear spoiler.'' takes 30 secs max.

I test drove a 997S with the aero kit at a local dealer here in SoFla.
I managed to get this same error message and was a little worried at first (the car had like 300 miles on it)...

From the Aerokit Installation Instructions TSB 1/05 6658:

Connect PIWIS tester and switch on ignition.
Select vehivle and Rear control unit.
Select Coding, then Spoiler and code fixed spoiler.

Pretty simple if they read the directions

Misref, can someone from Saudi travel across the border to Kuwait? I would think travel in that area would be dangerous? Not to hijack this thread but I find it interesting to learn about this as I've never been to your country...thanks!

The border between Kuwait And Saudi Arabia is very safe (except for the truckers that don't stay in their lanes). I am actually driving to Bahrain next week with my car to track it (with Nobles, Z06s, Ferraris also driving through Saudi Arabia). The roads are fairly decent, but the gas is so-so .. reminds me of driving through remote parts of the midwest.

The border between Kuwait and Iraq is the one that we tend to stay away from. The only people that go in through their are contractors and military.
