who would you have do a local install? how would the warranty with RUF hold up? how if RUF going to back you up if you have some local mechanic installing a complex supercharger system.
let me put it this way, i had the EVO system installed and it's much simpler than the RUF. my local dealer's motorsports shop still screwed it up and it had to go to another EVO dealer. now it's just been peachy since then
now as invasive an install as the RUF is and with as much as it costs, i'm not sure i would trust the RUF install with anyone besides RUF.

However on warranty issues - for the simple stuff they'll talk to your local mech and if I feel comfortable with the local guy and RUF feels comfortable with the local guy, they'll let him do the work. If there was major work to be done I believe they would want the car back in Dallas or would send someone here - although after the last 5 weeks here in Denver, they'd have to like to ski. I know there are other just as capable, less expensive S/C kits available - I bought the RUF conversion for the reputation, warranty (24/24) and I do like the clean look in the engine bay. To each his own, right?

you are only the only guy besides the employee at RUF that I know of that has this kit. it is certainly an engineering marvel. they pulled out all the stops on this retro fit.
