evo sc vs. tpc sc vs. ruf sc +10k

You still haven't told me why Hans won't release his personal dyno runs.

And the products we talk about are also sold worldwide. The RUF kits are anyway.
If there was an EVO SC installed around here I am very sure I would know about it. We know of the RUF kits installed in the US, why wouldn't I know about the EVO kits around here?
The price difference you're talking about is where YOU live.
But as I said, the World doesn't spin around deputydog95 and the price difference is not the same where I live.
And if you take the total cost of purchase into account it seems the EVO kit might be the wrong choice.
I am seeing many independent examples in this thread that the EVO kit adds performance, but does it add value?
We'll see, you might find out the hard way when you (try) sell your car.
And again, you are wrong about having to ship the car to RUF.
I would have to ship my car as well to get an EVO kit...
Why hasn't Hans published the dyno results?
How could I know? I don't know him, and as far as I know I have never seen any independent RUF dyno on the web. Why would they make an exception just for you?
I am sure the usual RUF customer doesn't base his purchase around a dyno.
I went for a test drive, imo the best way to see if the car is nice, fast and above all driveable.
As I have shown from independent acceleration tests, the performance is there. So must the horses be.

I am going to correct you on something though. This is an American forum primarily. It is owned and operated by US citizens. Most of it's members are from the US. The site is in English and most of the content revolves around cars, members, and activities here in the States. With that being said, we do have a lot of great members from other parts of the world who make great contributions to the forum (ie M2stoned and Jox, etc...)
The guy who started this thead in from the US. Go back and re-read the thread before continue shooting your mouth off. This discussion is only relative to to products sold in the US. The person who started this thread isn't going to ship his car to Europe for the install. You comments are argumentative and don't really support the discussion at hand. He is debating over what product is available to him in the UNITED STATES. Which is a mute point now anyway, since he said he bought the EVO kit like 5 pages ago.
When the next discussion about "Hey, I live in Europe and which Supercharger should I buy" comes up, I will gracefully bow out and let you handle it.
As far as resale value and the supercharger kits, you're talking out your *** and guessing. How many used Kompressors have been sold in the US? Uhh, none that we know of... With regards to my car and the EVO kit. I'm not sweating it. I'll pay a measely $1000 to turn my car back to stock and then sell the whole kit used for $5K. Let's see you try that with the RUF kit. It's a mod. I didn't put it on there for resale value. I put it on there to stomps stock turbos and 997's
I don't give a **** if I don't get a dime back out of it. That's it. I'm tapping out
I tend to agree with you after flippin' through the pages.
That's what most people would do in the states in case of selling the car or trading it in. Just turn it back into stock and sell off the mods. That way, you can recoup more money than selling it as a whole package. Mods really don't add value to a car and most people in the states will not buy a modded car under the presumption that it has been abused or driven hard. It's not just a Porsche thing, it also apply to Mercedes, BMW, and the other marques as well.

i chose evo for three reasons, all the good feedback from everybody who has one , two. ruf is in dallas that means my car would be gone for at least a whole month, dont like to wait.and three my total cost would have been about 28k[including shipping].....so price is the third.
after all this great feedback on this thread i have come to the conclusion that both systems are great its just a matter of $ and taste.as for me im waiting till monday when my system starts being installed wich means i won't have it till friday or sat.i cant friggin wait.will keep everybody informed.
by the way anybody with a sc c4s?mine is a c4s.

It's pretty simple. I wouldn't call it easy, but it's not rocket science either. Any competent tuner shop that is familiar with Pcars should be able to do it. Check EVO's site for an authorized dealer near you first. It's all bolt on parts, but it does require a degree of common sense.

I tries really hard to buy the car in Florida but the dealer had the car on consignement and refused my offer although i was the highest bidder each time he ran the auction. He came down to $109,000.
and i would have paid up to $100,000 but the salesman said the owner of the car has many cars and does not care if the car sells or not .
HERE IS THE LINK I SAVED .

it's obviously a very nice car. although i'm not sure why someone would invest so much money into a non turbo vehicle and then add forced induction.
for the same or less you could have:

Not to mention the 07 turbos are already dipping and will soon be in that range.
here's an 07 in the low 120's.
