Rear lights still taped, front signals still taped, could be 19" wheels, split on rearview mirror arms, 350hp claimed in article, square pipes.

 

I've seen a few of these pics now and doesn't the tail seem a bit snubbed? I love my 996TT

 

Yes, and I still believe there's plenty of camo on this, or perhaps dummy parts. That back lid drops off too much - could be a spoiler lip on the real 997 lid, and the bumper seems off too - just not much of an improvement on the tail end.

 

The car still does not look much different. I know the car is not a revolution just an evolution but come on. That should be good for 996 resale values.

 

I like how the fenders now have some curvature/shape as opposed to the very slab-sided 996.

 

hmm... not really feelin it.... I'll stick to my 996TT for now...

7 speed DSG transmission with F1 style paddle shift on 997 !!

 

The 997 is going back to it's roots with 21st century upgrades... I would say the lamps are a big improvment over the 996, but also, the 996GT2 is still one of my favroite all time porsches in existence.
