Different Carrera and C4 Tips?

Hey guys,

I keep seeing the rectangular exhaust tips that come on the regular Carreras and C4s, but some of them have bigger tips (bigger circumferences)? Am I seeing things? Is it an option?

Just curious.

I searched the forum and couldn't find any threads on this.

Standard Carrera 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive have the rectangular tips. The S versions have the dual tips and the cars with Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) have dual tips with one round tip bigger than the other. You can also buy after market tips like from Fabspeed and they are bigger looking d ual round tips.

the bigger dual (inside smaller outter bigger) tips come with option PSE (Porsche sport exhaust). the rectangular is standard on the C2 & C4 while the C2S & C4S have dual regular tips.

There is also an optional tip available for the non "s" cars. They are $750 (list). My car came with them and they are much nicer than stock tips. They were listed on the sticker as Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips.

I think this is what I'm seeing. They are nicer. Any pics?

Guys, thanks for the feedback, but I know the difference btwn non-S and S stock tips, and the PSE tips. I meant that among the rectangular tips (that come on the Carrera and Carrera 4), I see bigger and smaller ones.

I know these are not great pictures of the tips, but all I have handy. I'm actually not even sure I attached them properly. The tips are bolt on and may soon be for sale as I contemplate PSE.

Those are them my friend. Thanks for posting the pics. They look very nice. I'm glad I'm not hallucinating. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at finding the subtle differences on cars, especially Porsches.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of these bigger non-S Carrera tips for a good price? New or Used, as long as I don't get reamed for them...

Drop me a PM with what you think is reasonable. Include your email and I'll let you know when I have the PSE installed (which I expect to be in early summer). They are "as new".

M6kroc, if you do not sell them let me know...I like these better than the stock S tips. I would like to buy them from you.
